We had to change our front door, after searching around and had several quotes (some extra expansive THAT I DONT WANT TO MENTION THERE NAMES) we decided to chose a company in East Dulwich SE22, CROWN JOINERY. The reason its simple, they have the Skills as we had visit the workshop to find out how they make there Bespoke joinery. Its very impressive, its all made from scratch in hardwood, or Accoya timber, they have a good step up for machinery and mouldings, you can chose from Era brand locks to expansive Banhams locks. All mortise and tenant, all the wood work treated with preservatives and end grain sealant, primers, undercoats and SPRAYED final top coats which achieve a great finish. Also a new frame and new double glaze fanlight done in 24mm Argon, sandblasted number as well. Extremely pleased with the finish and service, Great communication as well. Im Delighted to recommend a great trades man/Joiner (ALEX) and Crown Joinery in SE22.

If you need any FRONT DOORS ,sash windows, purpose made JOINERY with quality, they are great option.

    • We were hoping to have a meal at Monkatsu  last night (Sunday), after having been out all day. Online information gave the closing time as 10pm. We got there around 8.30pm and they wouldn't give us a table because "the kitchen closes in half an hour." Surely it doesn't take half an hour to make a meal? We've never had to wait that long when we've eaten there before. Has anybody else had this happen? We ended up going home and getting a delivery, which wasn't how we had envisaged the end of a nice day 🙄
    • That place did only have pizzas on the menu, to the best of my recollection. We ate there once, the pizzas were ok but the room was not exactly atmospheric. Il Mirto has  a lot of pasta dishes on the menu,  but that also never seems busy. It's small and out of the way,  and easily forgotten if you're looking for somewhere to eat, I suppose.
