MUDDY BOOTS Children's Outdoor Nature Group every Monday and Friday 10-11.30am at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve. Drop in sessions, no need to book ahead.

With all this warm weather we are seeing lots of butterflies and moths at the Reserve. This Monday we'll be learning about caterpillars and butterflies and thinking about this amazing transformation. We'll be using seeds and sticks from to make caterpillar to take home and then we'll be spotting butterflies in the garden and on the walk through the meadows.

Other nature transformations - our tadpoles are also nearly fully transformed into tiny toadlets. Come and see these perfectly formed but minute toads!

As always at Muddy Boots there's digging, watering and mud painting on offer too. Then we'll have a walk in the woods (distance to suit your child) and head back to the Meadow Basecamp for snacks and drinks, songs, stories or poems.

Muddy Boots is hands on, engaging, fun and all outside in the fresh air of our lovely Nature Reserve.

Sessions run every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. They are drop in sessions, so no need to book ahead, just turn up on the day.

Meet up at the big green iron Reserve gates on Devonshire Road (opposite Tyson road) at 10am. There is on-street parking on Devonshire Road and Tyson Road.

Prices: It's ?7 per child, ?10 for 2 siblings, child-minded children discount available.

Recommended for children 14m upwards, but younger can try too. Siblings under 14m go free.

    • I mean if its going on for a long time I would think just having a talk to them over coffee would help.seems like they are freehold owners if they've been living there for a long time so i would advise not reporting them to the police since you will be stuck with them for a long time to come
