My 15 month old little boy gets motion sickness and does not enjoy car journeys. Journey time does not seem to make a difference as he can be sick right at the beginning or the end of a trip. Any tips from all the experienced Mums & Dads out there that could save our bacon (and clothes) when we go skiing in 10 days and have to tackle a flight and a 2 hour transfer up the mountain in a coach (already feeling a little green myself at the thought...).

I've used Travella homeopathic travel pills - we got them at Health Matters. My daughter gets travel sick between here and Old Kent Road and they got us all the way to Devon and back. They can simply be crunched up in their mouths so not too hard to take.

Can't say how they work but they do for us!

My two daughters are both hideously carsick. We put up with it until the eldest was 3 and then started giving her joyrides which have always worked thank goodness. With our youngest I went to see our GP when she was about 20 months old as she was being sick every time we got in a car (which luckily isn't that often as we don't drive in London, only when we're going away for weekends etc) and he prescribed Phenergan. They are supposed to be 2 when they take it but he let her have it as a one off at 22 months as we had a very long car journey to deal with. They take it the night before and then you can repeat the dose the following morning. She's now about to turn 3 and its been 100% successful so far.

Hope you find something that works for you as I know only too well how unpleasant it is. You are very brave to be tackling that mountain coach ride!!!

A friend of mine has twins and one has always suffered really badly from car sickness. She went to a homeopath and hasn't had a problem since. Have to say I use homeopathy on my 2.5 year old for everything from constipation to head colds and have had great results.

Not to mention the King and Queen 🤢"  Starmer dithers and is unable to make any decision and when he finally does he gets in massively wrong and duly backtracks. The guy is a liability and clown who the country needs rid off before he taxes us to heaven whilst bankrupting the country.
    • I assumed that the noise was from Heathrow planes - until the power outage in March that brought everything to a standstill. I still heard plane noise during that time - seems like it's City Airport planes. I wonder whether flight times and patterns can be adapted during the early hours before 6am to minimise noise pollution (e.g. slightly later times and not flying so low).
    • I was replying to Jazzer, who said it wasn't going to change Trump's presence here. However, you are also obviously right, and also  nothing will change Trump for the better. And yes, this could be counter productive. But I'm sure the silver tongued Keir Starmer will be able to smooth things over. Not to mention the King and Queen 🤢  I think it's right that people should feel able to make their feelings known. It appears to be  a peaceful and well planned demonstration, and presumably they won't be bringing out the Baby Trump inflatable again, which must be well deflated by now.
    • Its a few years ago now, but I organised my end of year prom (for year 13) at Off the Cuff in Herne Hill - was on the cheaper side to rent and at that age, felt very cool and clubby. I had my own 18th at Whirled Cinema in Loughborough Junction but I'm not sure if they take event bookings like that anymore
