Wanted: a place to stay in Edinburgh for 2 nights

Possibly help on the following for a stay in August if you have any contacts

Arrive 18th August

Checkout ? 20th August

An apartment in the new town/Old town, central Edinburgh, Princess street, Frederick Street area or anywhere that is not rowdy or difficult to get too from Waverley station for 10 people in total

2 adults and 1 child in one apartment ? 2 bedrooms

4 adults in another ? 2 bedrooms

3 adults in another ? 2 bedrooms

Or if easier

3 adults and 1 child in one ? 2 bedrooms

6 adults in one ? 3 rooms

You could try the student accommodation which is easily reachable from centre by walking or by bus. I have stayed there twice and the service is excellent, with buffet breakfast, and some ensuite rooms.

You may be a bit late in booking though.

I would try looking for accommodation further out like Leith Docks. Edinburgh runs a lot of people carrier cabs that take up to 7 or 8 people so 2 cabs will get you there and a bus-ride takes you back up to the Central area direct.

Both are very cheap compared to London prices.
