I watched the 'Dispatches' investigation on several muslim schools and the kicking and punching of students by their teachers.

Some of these schools had approval by various political dignitaries, and one female MP had tears in her eyes whilst watching the appalling scenes which had been filmed.

There was also hatred and disrespect against the Jews and Hindu's and anyone else who wasn't a muslim it seemed to me.

Am I the only one who feels there are double standards in this society, why is it permitted when muslims break the law?

Because those in power are often terrified of offending ethnic and religious minorities. This is mainly down to a libel culture that's infected our legal system, and has remained unchecked to the extent that it's encouraged by solicitors who'll often take-on a case so they can make a lot of money through astronomical legal fees. It's now used almost as a weapon against anyone who dares to criticize what is blatantly wrong or illegal, on the grounds that it's 'offensive' or breeds 'hatred'.

    • Politicians, eh. They must wonder why they bother trying to help other people by standing for election. Well, the ones who don't go into politics to make money from backhanders and dodgy connections and speeches about Peppa Pig. But then mostly those ones don't get found out.
    • Two wrongs don't make a right @malumbu and if you come in on a ticket to end the sleaze you'd better be whiter than white.  I suspect a local Dulwich estate agent is preparing to be thrown under the bus.....given the "new evidence has come to light and being assessed by the PM and the independent adviser" news from the PM's spokesperson! Shall we have a wager on which estate agent she went to? 😉 Anyone also want a wager on whether this story was leaked by someone in Southwark council?
