  1. I don't see what semen and lion hunting have got to do with people who are normal and decent until they change into complete brainless a****holes under the guise of a stag do. He is getting married that's all, ......rites of passage good grief!
  2. I watched the 'Dispatches' investigation on several muslim schools and the kicking and punching of students by their teachers. Some of these schools had approval by various political dignitaries, and one female MP had tears in her eyes whilst watching the appalling scenes which had been filmed. There was also hatred and disrespect against the Jews and Hindu's and anyone else who wasn't a muslim it seemed to me. Am I the only one who feels there are double standards in this society, why is it permitted when muslims break the law?
  3. You would win by a mile Scribe, you're full of piss 'n wind!
  4. They have been advertising the "Boardwalk" on Atlantic as being better than the Sopranos, but it isn't, nowhere near.
  5. I am just thinking that for ?165, you can't really go wrong with that, and I can't justify spending a load right now. Wait until you can afford the thing that you want, you will be much more likely to use it regularly and be happier doing so. Anything that I have bought hurriedly on the cheap I have regretted and had to upgrade, so be patient and buy exactly what you need, would be my advice. You also have the possibility of buying secondhand or discounted 'new' but you need time and patience for such a transaction.
  6. My HD with sky is about ?50 pcm and I can record a series, and store at the press of a button, no tapes etc. There are large numbers of chanels I do not visit, but the advantage is one can usually find something to watch and since I had it installed I do not watch the 4 usual chanels except for something like Dispatches when I record the series which is easy and convenient. I can get the chinese, russian, french, and al jazeera news, which makes a change from the usual suspects.
  7. Perhaps you could try and locate the family and interview them as Dartford is not far to travel.
  8. It is the best server around better than Virgin and NTL etc. judging by my past forays into pay tv. It is reasonable compared to the ?12 pcm for the bbc, if you avoid the sport chanels which are expensive in my opinion. With HD apparantly 60% do not have the eyesight to determine the improvement, it's as if someone at Sky turns the brightness settings up for you.
  9. Most people want to change when they feel they are failing in their present job and there seems little hope for the future. If a careers advisor were worth his salt he would be in a better job. They charge a few grand to write your cv, but they cannot get you a job in a market which is receding. Start by going to the library and look at all of the possible career routes. Ask family and close friends what do they think you are, or might be, good at. It takes money to change a career so start saving and get a part time job in the evenings or week ends you wont make much but it will allow you save as you will have less time to spend. When you have put a few grand away, probably enough to support you for a couple of years, come back and talk then. Now get to it, or you'll get the back 'o my hand.
  10. Quite so Marmora Man, right master Carnell go get your shovel, you're on next!
  11. I cannot remember a 'stag do' that I would want to relive. They seem to make good guys become infantile and boorish. Then there are the idiots who cannot wait to create unnecessary trouble, and bring the world down on top of themselves and upon everyone else, to somehow make themselves appear to be a 'party animal' when in fact they are just animals. If I never went to another stag do, it would be too soon.
  12. My recommendation for a week-end away is to make it a fortnight....................
  13. \\|||// / ~ ~ \ ) O O ( -------uUu------U------uUu------- Heisenberg may have been here That is a pretty good likeness of 'Chad' if my memory serves Hal, but Heisenberg sounds like a lager.......
  14. I've heard from a few people that some people are very flippant, tactless and thoughtless with their remarks. wrote Goodliz That is why no one wants to get involved for fear of saying the wrong thing and possibly hurting the already 'raw' individual.........
  15. But I didn't want to be unkind. wrote Brendan Why? "The National Gallery" yer big Jessie 'appen!
