Move Kitchen to Bedroom - any help appreciated!

Hi All,

My partner and I have just bought a new flat in the area.

We're looking in to moving the kitchen to where the bedroom is, what I suppose used to be the dining room or second living space.

The bedroom has a waste pipe, which is the top 2 flats waste pipe, running outside of the French doors which lead onto the garden and the room is right next to the boiler on the adjoining wall. There's also a gas pipe in the room. The property is a semi detached Victorian property and we are on the ground floor with side acces. There is also a basement below.

Has anyone ever done something like this? And how easy was it?

If so, does anyone know of anyone who could do this for us please?

  Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
