attempted bike theft Lordship Lane

Just a heads up - Yesterday a man tried to steal my sons bike from outside Ma & S on lordship lane at around 5.45pm. He had some bolt cutters hidden in a newspaper as he cut the lock. Luckily my son spotted him and kindly asked him to step away from the bike and move along. He then sauntered up lordship lane (mid thirties, bright red baseball cap) My son took some very good video footage of him which clearly show his face.

If you had a bike stolen yesterday on LL it might be worth reporting as it could be the same chap? shops may have CCTV

We have informed the police and will be passing the footage over to them.
