It may be unpalatable, but not all asylum seekers are genuine and a number have their claims rejected. There are issues with the accommodation of those seeking to have their rejected status appealed. I doubt that news is not known. Picking and choosing facts to suit your own beliefs is in itself dangerous.

Wow…. How do you feel you have the right to say who should or should not be welcome in dulwich for having different views than yourself. i have lived in dulwich my whole life and seen so much change but this self righteous view is what dulwich is becoming and it’s sad.

Seeking asylum is legal. Equating asylum seekers with 'illegal' immigrants is one of the most effective and long-lasting tricks of those diverting blame for the state of the country. Sadly many have just followed that diversion, be it out of ignorance, laziness, or convenient alignment with other views they may hold.
