If you are desperate to have your hands free again, would like to know how to make sure you and your baby are comfy and safe in a sling or carrier, or would like to learn to feed your baby on the go, then pop along to East Dulwich Slings newborn baby workshop.

Suitable from birth - around 10 weeks, our friendly and welcoming workshops are led by local midwife and babywearing consultant and are suitable for complete beginners, or more experienced babywearers alike, and aim to ensure that you build your confidence handling your baby and using a sling or carrier that you love. Both parents (or grandparents, aunties uncles etc etc) are welcome.

You will learn to use two types of slings (usually a stretchy wrap type sling, and a buckled baby carrier) and learn about the other available options. Then choose to hire or to buy one of your own, both at a special workshop price, choosing from brands such as Ergo baby, Beco, Moby, Hana Wrap, Manduca, Izmi and many more.

Held in our welcoming living room on Upland road, se22, with snacks, drinks, feeding pillows, bottle warmers, changing mats.

  Yep CRP Dave. It reminded me of Jess Phillips a couple of weeks ago, when the grooming gangs enquiry started going tits up. It's not very statesman-like to lose your shit like that in the chamber. It's one unedifying display after another.

  He should be. His behaviour has been appalling. Refusing to comply with a Speaker's request to come back to the HoC and explain himself shows utter contempt to parliament and the electorate. If he had any any integrity he would resign. Nothing to do with the prisoner, but all to do with his arrogance and contempt. This Labour party don't have any integrity at all though. We are two weeks away from the Chancellor of the Exchequer breaking a fundamental manifesto commitment. Breaking promises like demeans the entire contract between voters and MPs. If she doesn't resign for breaking those promises (she won't) then all manifesto promises going forward have to also be treated as lies, not worth the paper they are written on. She should have already resigned herself for the breaking the law over her failure to register as a landlord. They are an absolute disgrace. And whilst all this farce plays out in Downing St where the fuck is the Prime Minister? Nowhere to be seen, unanswerable to the public about this disgraceful shambles.

  That's a shame. I tried to take my car there for an a/c issue a couple of times this summer but they seemed to be closed on both occasions so I gave up in the end. Hopefully they'll enjoy their retirement proceeds from selling their site to a property developer! The garage in Upland Road (Pitstop) is good for servicing and repairs. Kwik fit in Grove Vale is also good and they do the diagnostics tests too.
