The Healing Properties of ACV (with the Mother)

Yes, Apple Cider Vinegar. Have any of you forumites used this to heal anything? Did it have any effect? I've read it may cure me of my 'problem' (well one of them) and so am keen to purchase some. Does anyone sell it locally and know what 'mother' is?

MrPR often has this.

Mix together a Teaspoon of Aspalls ORGANIC Cyder Vinegar mixed with teaspoon of best quality honey into a mug, and then pour very hot (not boiling) water mixing cyder vinegar/honey mix into the mug. He likes it as a refreshing drink. I think it stinks the place out.

He also claims he does not have the sort of rheumatic pain in his arm anymore that he used to. Could be a coincidence but there are lots of stories of older people drinking cyder vinegar to help with arthritis.

You can buy it in most supermarkets but also health food stores, and it varies in price from place to place. A big bottle is about ?3.09
