Nicola Hall- brilliant conveyancing solicitor

I would like to wholeheartedly recommend Nicola Hall, from Hall and Co Solicitors, based at the top end of Lordship Lane. (020 7183 5651).

We instructed Nicola to deal with our recent house purchase and sale of our flat, and she has been fantastic to work with throughout the process. From the outset, Nicola provided the most prompt, clear, thorough quote, with no hidden costs.

She is diligent, fair, calm in a crisis, easy to get hold of, and she helped make a complicated process much less stressful.

Also, there is a lot to be said for using a local solicitor's office, both for face to face contact, and for hand delivering important paperwork.

We don't intend to move again for a long time, but we would be more than happy to use her services again in the future.

    • Loving the arm chair speculation on here  Blimey how long before this gets spun out to be a drug dealer welding a sawn off whilst driving away from a smash and grab at the coop cash machine flipped his car and landed on a bollard type post  Where's the green cross code man when you need him ?
    • If you haven't already watched this totally shocking docudrama on Channel 4 then make sure you watch it and tell everyone you know to watch It It lays bare the scandalous, harmful and lethal  (in some cases) behaviour of the water companies since privatisation.  I for one didn't realise that the water companies pay the regulator/environment agency to regulate them in one mega conflict of interest.   This is as shocking as the post office/postmasters scandal with even more far reaching consequences.
    • We have been going to Franklins for many years. On the whole we have found both the food and service extremely good,  and good value for money, but there have been one or two low points, including unfortunately a very expensive but disappointing  meal with friends which I was paying for. I think it may depend on who is in the kitchen. We had a really excellent meal from their Christmas menu before Christmas this year, which for the quality of the food and cooking we didn't feel was expensive at all. I think it would be a real shame if it was turned into a pub. It isn't that kind of place. That's why we like it.
