The Lahore Kebab House was a favourite ours when we lived in Whitechapel. We always called it the La Kebab Whorehouse. It's just off Commercial Street, next to Flick Fashions, whose signage put the L and the I in flick too close together.

There used to be a restaurant in Exeter (maybe still is) called Fannies which was right next door to a surf shop (I think) called Willies.

Cue childish sniggering.

The Evening Standard had a review today for a new restaurant called 'Flavour Bastard'.

The review completely ripped the whole place to shreds. Rather amusing, it was.
