Hi East Dulwich Forum,

My wife and I are looking for an experienced Nanny to take care of our 2 lovely daughters (age 1.5 and 3.5).

The work would be roughly 12 hours per week over 3 days a week (Mon-Tues-Wed)

Morning: 7:30 -> 8:30 Help getting the girls to Nursery (10 minute walk)

Evening: 6 -> 9 Help picking up the girls, feeding them (light meal), washed and into bed with a story.

My Wife works in the City, she will be around but wants some 'extra support' as I will probably need to travel 3 days a week for work.

As very much a nice to have the Nanny would speak Italian (we are Italians) but this is very much secondary as the girls speak more English than Italian.

Friendly, cheerful, experienced and obviously good and patient with little ones are the main characteristics we are after.

Private message me if this sounds of interest, to get in touch and discuss further.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Niall

    • Palace were at home last night, kicked off at 19.45. The timing sounds about right.
    • The way they were heading, towards the East bound South Circular, and on lights and sirens, wouldn't I think suggest that. I have lived on Underhill for close to 40 years, but it has not formed part of an emergency route until very recently, nor have we had rush hour queues until the LTN introduction. Despite the fact that it is a bus route much of it is residential and doesn't support speeding traffic safely. It's not a route I would chose to put 5 speeding police vans in convoy unless there was no alternative in accessing the A205. Which there now mainly isn't.
    • There were large amounts of police and a couple of TSG vans at London Bridge station last night at a similar time.  Usually that means some sort of Millwall related football clash, but I didn't hang around to find out.
    • In deed.  I was hypothesising and being ironic.  See my separate thread on football and politics.  Perhaps I'll add WTF in future (wtf would I want to go to Trumps America).
