Stolen Scooter (Blue) - 18th Aug

Hello all,

Unfortunately, I have had my little blue scooter stolen off my front garden on Thursday night/early Friday morning (18th Aug) on Friern Road (near Dulwich Library).

Assuming it was stolen and used for petty crime, I would guess it has been abandoned in an alleyway or something.

It anyone has seen it around I would greatly appreciate it if you contacted me.

It really sucks when this happens, and you would be right in second guessing that it happened to me too albeit out of ED. A group of 12 - 14 year olds wheeled it out of my front garden at c.7pm on a Sat.

My new scooter has a cover over it and a 'U' lock that fits through the holes in the cover and the front wheel so its a real pain in the arse for thieves to look at what they want to steal. And sure enough, 3am in the morning I heard a scooter put up outside on the pavement and in my front garden was a scroat try to pull the cover up without joy, then buggered off when I pulled the blinds up.

I was lucky to find mine in a poor way but the insurance were quick to pay up.

yes, I posted on FB. There is a blue scooter outside of 19 Norcroft Gardens SE220BH. It's just around the corner from you so they didn't get far with it.

The picture is very similar, so I guess its yours.

Thank you for all the nice comments, my scooter was in fact on Norcroft Gardens so thank you for your advice. I retrieved it yesterday evening

Unfortunately, they have had a good go at it but it's better than nothing I guess.

I just wanted to say the motorbike repair shop, at the bottom of Barry Road, outside Turners have been really helpful getting my scooter working again. I would recommend
