Gubodge
I was wondering if there was anybody else with young kids who was planning on protesting on Saturday. If so what's your plan? I'm fairly certain my younger one will last a maximum of about an hour so think we're likely to be better off either just joining the feeder march from Kennington Park until it meets the main protest and then doing fun four year old stuff, or else doing fun four year old stuff and then attaching ourselves to the march for the last leg and the rally. I have told the girls that the cuts mean they are shutting libraries and they are horrified. And worried that their school library is going to close. Oops. Otta
I imagine kids will find it all rather interesting. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16444-march-against-the-cuts/#findComment-422549 Share on other sites

redpenguin
We're taking kids straight up there to Victoria Embankment for about 12 and then see how it goes. 2 of them just young enough for a buggy so could be easy?? sillywoman
Several cohorts of Charter kids from various years going that I know of. Mostly horrified about the debt they'll have to take on to start their working lives with a degree. All meeting at different places though and parents - if going - going separately.
