London animal hospital

Having just had a v poor experience indeed with what has become a rather corporate vet in East Dulwich, we've decided today to register at the London Animal Hospital (they are a normal vet as well as an emergency service.)

They couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant on the phone. Much more knowledgeable and human than the reception staff at the aforementioned place.

We take our pooch there tomorrow morning for a consultation so will report back!

Edcam...you won't regret it. We recently used the London Animal Hospital because of an emergency (they are open 24 hours) and did not seem financially led, ie they didn't ask if our dog was insured. Sometimes I wonder if various unnecessary tests are carried out on insured animals.

The vet at the London Animal Hospital wanted to see our dog post op 3 times, at no additional charge.

Other vets may have charged for these additional consultations.

Have a look at what they do on Twitter/Instagram.

Thanks very much. We've had a good look and liked what we've seen but great to see a good testimonial like this.

    • Yes, we have a Casio CT-S100 we no longer need, except I dont think we have the headphones any more. It has a USB connection. £50? https://www.argos.co.uk/product/7333639
    • Thank you! She is both spayed and microchipped, and reported missing on Petlog and with the vets.   She normally never goes out the front, certainly for never more than 10-15 minutes, so this is definitely new territory for her. There is lots of dense foliage across the road so there are plenty of places she could be hiding if she is spooked, so we are hoping she will come back when she is calm. The weather isn't helping, she never goes out in the rain. Thank you again!
    • Hi, Have you been letting her out the front door onto the street or would this be a first & therefore unfamiliar with the area? Does she respond to a name & is she spayed & microchipped? Our team carry scanners on our daily routes & will of course be looking our for her. I hope you are reunited with her soon. If not already, notify your street & surrounding streets (find out if they have Whatsapp groups) Dox will print & deliver free missing posters https://www.doxdirect.com/help/free-missing-pet-posters/ Call her at dusk & dawn when street & foot traffic is at its lowest.
