Chris Foster: The Goose Is Out! The Ivy House, Thurday 14 Sept.

It is far too long since Chris Foster came to the Goose way back in 2010, so we are really pleased that he was able to come over from Iceland to sing for us tonight.


?Chris Foster merits legend status, one of the very best in the second wave of the Brit folk revival, as important as Martin Carthy, Dick Gaughan and Nic Jones in the way he has modernised and invested traditional songs with inventive guitar arrangements and potent vocal delivery.?       Vance seems to be  as bad as Trump. If Trump is assassinated, wouldn't Vance just step up to be president? Or doesn't it work like that?

      I doubt it was the ice cream.   Lots of winter bugs around.   Noro virus is around ATM and it can have a sudden onset.   It is horrible to see little ones being ill but hopefully it will pass soon.   Call 111 if you are concerned.
