It is far too long since Chris Foster came to the Goose way back in 2010, so we are really pleased that he was able to come over from Iceland to sing for us tonight.


?Chris Foster merits legend status, one of the very best in the second wave of the Brit folk revival, as important as Martin Carthy, Dick Gaughan and Nic Jones in the way he has modernised and invested traditional songs with inventive guitar arrangements and potent vocal delivery.?     • The OP might have found the ‘Creative Trump’ protests entertaining but I found them very disrespectful to our late and great Queen Elizabeth who was interred at Windsor Castle 3 years ago.  They would have had more impact on projecting the images at Chequers today.
