Question re storing expressed breast milk

Hi,

Possibly a stupid question but I'm new to this.. If I express breastmilk in the morning and plan to feed it to my baby the same night, can I just store it in the sterilised bottle I'll use to feed him? I have milk storage bags that I'm using but it seems odd to keep transferring it. Also if I do just use the bottle to store it in the fridge and express more later can I just top up the bottle?

Yes, I did exactly that too, it's fine.

Also worth bearing in mind (if you didn't already know) is that you don't need to wash/sterilise your pump after every use - just seal it up and pop it in the fridge.
