I will be retiring after our 40th birthday in September 2018.

I am now inviting expressions of interest in running a bookshop after I retire.

We will start discussions with interested parties in January 2018.

We can take a a flexible approach as we own the premises.

I think he was in the shop on Saturday morning (not sure what he looks like as first time I've been in there) but was very busy as was giving a 39% discount on all books for their 39th birthday.

We have an immediate temporary Saturday bookshop worker post to fill.

This is for normal bookshop work and assistance in things that need to be done before I retire.

Saturdays 10:00 - 17:00

Half hour paid lunch break

5 Saturdays paid holiday per year.

Some extra hours work will be required in the two weeks before Christmas.

This is legitimate PAYE employment.

Pay is London Living Wage of ?9.75 per hour with an iminent pay increase due.

I popped in to Chener buy a couple of books today, there was a bit of a chat going on round the desk about what will happen when John retires next year...I don't want the bookshop to close and wondered what others thought?

This will be the last Christmas we run a small campaign to raise cash for PECAN (Southwark Foodbank).

From now until Christmas we will donate 10% of the cover price of any art book purchased.

As part of the pre-retirement activities, from now until the end of March 2018 we will offer a 20% discount off everything when paid for in full by cash.
