Free bike maintenance Thursday September 7th

Dr Bike will be welcoming all comers with his vast bike-related knowledge, love of hard-work and his team of helpers, meeters and greeter. He will be under Peckham Arch from 5.30-7.30pm tomorrow (Sept 7th). The Arch is the big arch-shaped structure at the north end of Rye Lane (one end is propped up on the Kentish Drovers).

The team tighten brakes, index gears and mend tyres as a matter of course. Rumour has it that they might have a few spare parts (like brake cables) (maybe). For anything much bigger they offer wise advice which is helpful if you need to head off and pay a bike mechanic.

We are Southwark Cyclists, the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign. Everything we do is free -- there are no residence requirements and everyone is welcome.
