What has happened to womens fashion, the majority of women,look like gay Worzel Gummages,

They are wearing scarfs round their necks like shredded old rags,cheap old nylon tops with either beads or glitter on jackets that are mishapen and hanging out of shape,and either Max Wall tights or pantaloons under some kind of hideous dresses,most of the shoes are cheap and plastic.

The material of most of them is just very cheap looking,whats happened to classy clothes

Fashion is very different now it tends to be cookie cutters, when I was growing up you had Punks, skinheads, Rude boys, Modes depending what you were into its all about personal choice. What style are you into Tarot?

Not beaded twinkly tops.

But really women dont dress in quality clothes any more,

They are mainly wearing old vest ,Max Wall pants,ok if your tall and slim.in more fatter types its incompatible.

Nylon clothes, are too cheap looking,with beads added and sparkly bits,look awful,and who thinks orange green mustard and purple look good to wear,a sickening combination.

All that and plastic jewellry, , plastic nails,and hair extensions.

There is no British stylish women anymore, the Barbie doll generation has no style.

We need designers who ,make cothes for women and not transvestites(noticed the shoes,heels they cant walk on).

Natural material,cotton .wool.bamboo,

Men dress with more style, pity their girlfriends dont.

I have clothes that can be taken to the cleaners,made of natural materials that can be washed and always wear well,

If you want style you have to pay for it,its better to save for a good set of clothes that will last for years and will serve you well.

The working wardrobe its called in the trade,clothes for all seasons,

I have a friend who goes to dress agencies and gets some real smart looking clothes.

Chain store clothes are like chocolate,its everywhere.

Dont mean you have to follow like sheep. save up and get something different.

Interesting thoughts Tarot I do agree, there are some that dress the way you are referring to but are there are others out there that don?t depends on taste as someone who comes from parents who were tailors and make my own clothes I do have some idea.

As for men?s fashion again there is a few that dress really well but also there those who don?t i.e.... builders bum style dress street rap look I hate with a passion. I think style of dress tends to be by the company you keep you very rarely see Goth with preppy punk with city boys tend to be tribal.

Well Sewing machines sales are booming at the moment Ridgely,whats needed now is decent material.

Fashions come and go but, the chain shop style is now world wide, and its child labour that makes that crap.

I think the problem is diminishable disposable incomes combined with shops that sell clothes which are designed to last a season. Its a pile it high and cheap approach to satify a desire to play with style. And for a younger generation who are supposedly concerned about global issues then this sentiment does not apply to clothes which are more often than not made in terrible conditions. I would rather save to get something nice than something made by some poor sod in a sweatshop. I always shop in the sales too. I sometimes go to dress agencies and my friends and I do clothes swapping parties when we can - whole new wardrobe for free.

In the end I find high fashion is for the rich, the young and sometimes, for the non thinking. Occasionally all three are combined and the product is a harem panted puffer jacketed sloane on the Kings road. With massive sunglasses.
