johannaphillips
HelloDoes anyone know of any Spanish classes for toddlers? I am hoping to start introducing my 18month old to different languages and sounds through play - either in a group class or a weekly session at home. Any recommendations? l_ryan_collins
Hi Johanna,I'm looking for exactly the same thing. I speak to my 2-year-old in Spanish and would like him to spend some time each week with a group of other Spanish speaking toddlers singing songs, reading stories, etc. There used to be a group called 'Bilinguebabes' which ran in Brockley but it stopped running a couple of years ago. Please keep me posted if you hear of anything and I will do the same. I'm also considering setting something up myself if i don't find anything else, i.e. employing a native Spanish speaking tutor to come to my house and do songs / story-telling for an hour per week and splitting the cost with 3-4 other families if I can find others who are interested. Is this something you (or others who read this post) would potentially be interested in? I live close to Dulwich library. All the best,Lily Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/167462-spanish-for-toddlers/#findComment-1176595 Share on other sites
Babsy
Hi, my partner and 22 month old daughter attended their first lingotots spanish class at v22 (The arts centre next to Forest Hill pools) last Saturday. It starts at 10.15 and they enjoyed the class. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/167462-spanish-for-toddlers/#findComment-1177126 Share on other sites
anagonza36
Hola,Thanks for the info Babsy. I am a Spanish mother looking for a Spanish toddler class so my 2.5 years old son can practice the language. I have found none so far, but will check this V22 centre. Alternatively, I am considering to set up my own group...if there is an interest, we potentially could meet up and explore the options. All the best,Ana Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/167462-spanish-for-toddlers/#findComment-1178423 Share on other sites
