'Kicksister' Female only Taekwondo classes Fridays 18:30-19:30

British Taekwondo Kicksister with This girl can!


Walters Family School of Taekwondo are starting female only session for women and teenagers this Friday. These sessions will take place weekly (Fridays 18:30-19:30) and we are running an introductory offer of ?2.50 per person, per session.


We are teaming up with British Taekwondo as part of their Kicksister programme in line with the Nationwide ?This Girl Can? campaign. We are very excited to get started so please help to spread the word.


All ability levels are welcome. If you?ve ever fancied having a go at Taekwondo this is the perfect session for you!




New participants will need to register with British Taekwondo and purchase an annual membership for ?27 which is inclusive of insurance.

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
