Au Pair/Nanny required

We are looking for a live-out au pair or nanny for our two girls (2 and 6) from January 2018. Both will be at nursery/ school. Ideally the role would include drop off in the morning and then pick up from 3pm and looking after the girls until 6.45pm Monday to Thursday. However, we could look at applicants who would be interested in the afternoon care only between 3-6.45pm. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and passionate about children who wants to be a part of the family. General duties will be day-to-day - dinner, homework, play dates/clubs, baths etc. Good English, a clean uk drivers licence a must. Interested applicants, please private message me with your CV.   I got a relatively good deal (well, compared to the quote from my current broker!) through Orwell Insurance, who also didn't require a survey. £655 pa including subsidence cover. The excess is quite high but there's a ten year guarantee on the work on my front bay, so fingers crossed I won't have to claim. There has been other ground movement decades ago which sadly they also took into account in setting the excess. I used an online site called QuoteZone which was very quick and easy and can exclude any companies which won't cover you if you've had previous subsidence. Good luck to everyone who is in a similar situation! Each company seems to ask different questions and want different things, so definitely try a few places. I didn't want to spend days phoning round, so given I had already saved £845 I stopped there, though it's possible I could have got it cheaper.

  I'm curious, if commercial enterprises are restricted to how many times they can use the council recycling facility how then do they dispose of the waste?

  Another vote for Isabel Capitain - she is great - she and her partner have repaired and made some bespoke pieces for me and it’s always a beautiful job and great experience
