Advice creating an A3 poster please

Having just got to grips with making up some business cards on Vista Print, I now wish to create an A3 poster (must be A3). VP provides for this, only the minimum purchase is 25 and I only want one. I am not very tekky minded (and struggled enormously with the business cards!) so, any advice suitable for a newbie with regard to such things, I would greatly appreciate.

have used Qwick Print for a number of years - seems to be a family run business. We use them for our newsletters (around 12,000 a year). Invitations and posters.
