I am looking for a nanny to join our family to provide full time care for my son who will be 1 year old when I return back to work in early January 2017. My son is a relaxed and loving child. We want someone who is experienced and has a genuine love for children to take care of him. It is important to us that our child is socialised with other children so we want someone who is prepared to research and take him to play groups and any activities locally we might arrange to keep him occupied.

We would like the nanny to have completed a first aid course and have a valid DBS check. We also need our prospective nanny to drop off our 3 soon to be 4 year old daughter at a local preschool and pick her up once school is done. The nanny would therefore care for the 2 children outside of school hours and in the school holidays. Our daughter is bright, well mannered and socialable and is a lovely big sister to her brother. We need someone with a full clean driving licence as the easiest way to reach preschool is by car. We would want the nanny to take care of the children's general well being, prepare meals for them at home, do their laundry, help with homework and tidy up after the children.

We are looking for someone who genuinely loves children, is a self starter and reliable as both parents have busy jobs. We are a fun and caring family who are looking for a longstanding working partnership.

If interested please get in touch. We will need valid references which we can check for the most recent positions held and within the last 3 years.

Flexible with starting date and happy to travel for the right job. I just finished work for a wonderful family after nearly 7 years as twins started reception. I looked after 4 children. Their age now, b10, g7 and twins 4.

My duties included:

- changing nappies regularly and teaching older children good bathroom hygiene

- taking the children to regular activities and play dates as appropriate

- involving the children in activities at home such as drawing, reading, painting, crafts

- teaching the children good manners such as saying please and thank you, helping to tidy up their toys around the house, learning to share toys with other children

- washing and hanging out the children?s clothes

- keeping the children?s bedroom and play area tidy (involvivng them as well)

- using the dishwasher to wash the dishes and equipment used to make the children and nanny?s meals.

I helped with twins since they were born but sole charge since they were 5 months old. I have experience from newborn twins - 11 years old children. Ofsted registered, first aider, have nanny insurance, clear DBS check, UK driving licence, non smoker. I am very responsible, mature and loving person with great sense of humour and caring attitude. I am also good listener with great communicating skills. Checkable references of course. Please get in touch if you have more questions on 07808218446 or email [email protected]

Looking forwards to hear from you.

Thank you

    • Highly recommend Dulwich Eco Gardening.  When he came to quote Saied said he’d give our garden back so we could decide what we do next.  Under two weeks of hard work from Saied and Mo and we have the garden back and can see paving I’d forgotten about. Not only did Saied remove our very overgrown greenery. Nature had taken over. He also took back to our fence line overgrown ivy, apple and pear trees and and dealt with a neighbours bamboo that had invaded our garden.  We are now going to get quotes for what we do next so those quoting will be able to see the space.  Saied has suggested someone to quote and will be coming back when he does in case he has any questions or they can work together.  I thought Saied would be a good choice and he was. Quotes from others didn’t leave me with confidence for the end result. That was never a concern with Saied.
    • Having a BBQ (fingers crossed) in 2 weeks and need a small BBQ for veggie bits and any spare benches or garden tables and chairs to borrow to add to mine. Any going? Thanks in advance...
    • Oh dear, hope you are OK, I've had it three times and it was worse each time, but not a patch on many of those who got it before they vac' role out. Not commenting on the discussion as I got confused many days ago beyond the reminder that Corbyn would not compromise and the harm that could lead to him, the party and regards Brexit pre and post referendum the country.  Starmer goes too far the other way at times.
    • I am  ill in bed with Covid. It's not that I "can't be bothered" to read things. I am feeling crap and don't have the mental  energy at the moment. I am not "brushing stuff aside and pleading ignorance." I am truthfully saying when I don't presently know enough about something to be able to comment. I have always been very careful to try to  differentiate between fact and opinion in both  my posts and other people's, and I am not clear what your point is. And I am certainly not trying to wind anybody up. This is a forum. If you don't want to respond to my posts, that's up to you. I'm not sure why you feel the need to announce it.
