Daytime tutoring for Reading and writing

Highly experienced and well qualified teacher of Reading and Writing offers individually tailored daytime sessions (between 10am and 2pm) in your own home.

My professional experience has been as a manager and class teacher of children in Nursery, Reception and Years 1-4, with particular expertise in developing Literacy. I am registered with the GTC and have CRB clearance.

My skills include an up to date knowledge of current curriculum and assessment content. I have a passion for developing early literacy skills with young children, ensuring that they begin school with sound basic skills in phonics, letter formation and an extensive love of literacy. Teaching sessions include assessment, feedback, individually prepared programmes that inspire and motivate and a treasure of resources!
