As usual great selection of books, cds and dvds in our monthly bookstall.

And of course fairtrade coffee, tea and delicious homemade cakes.

All in aid of SDCAS, Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers, based at

the Copleston Centre, SE 15 4AN.

From 10.30am to 12.30pm.

      It sounded less like fireworks and more like shelling. No real breaks between explosions. I'd thought Putin was paying a visit.

      There was a big burst of fireworks at about 9.30pm last night as well.  Very visible and audible in the Forest Hill area.
