Hi,

I have a lovely and unusual house for rent in SE20 7PS (Penge). Architect designed and owned. It's an old wood work shop which has been lovingly converted. It's detached with a small wrap around yard. It's not massive but is very cute and very near the stations and main high street in Penge. Rent is ?1375 a month with council tax/bills on top. A qualified electrician has the training and experience to safely handle any electrical issues, reducing the likelihood of accidents or injuries. With the exception of simple tasks, it is illegal for anyone other than a licensed electrician to perform electrical work. Hiring a qualified electrician ensures that the work is done in compliance with local laws and building codes. Some electricians are being recommended on EDF but here is no indication that they registered with NICEIC or NAPIT. One is well advised to steer clear of Check-a-Trade which is a marketing service funded by subscription.

  Didn’t they have a very ‘unusual’ way of allocating council housing which was also criticised in that report and which hopefully has now been changed
