The point is Rendel that wood stoves are killing more people in London than diesel cars and that this policy has already been shown to have caused people to abandon diesel rsulting directly in an increase in pollution.


It is misconceived and worse for the environment than the status quo.

Yes frustrating, but great that it sounds like they will be open again soon, hooray!

      Am I right in thinking, after a little checking, that 'sim free phone' is now just the equivalent of 'unlocked', ie not locked to a specific network? Sue, if you do find a network that will let you keep a connection with them for nowt, or without any risk (in some cases) of having the number and even account balance withdrawn, do let me know. :)  It's happened to me twice -- once with a really nice number too.  I need to find a better deal for myself too.

      It should be on the SNT crime radar - when I was given a crime number the police told me they'd be informing the SNT.    @KS23 Sorry this happened to you, it's not very nice. If it happens again, I'd try to take a photo of them from inside your house, assuming you can see who's at the front door from one of your windows. I'm assuming you don't have a doorbell cam - I doubt they'd target people who do. If it keeps happening, that might be a good deterrent
