Never heard anything.. From Live Lightning web site , nearest current thunder storms are over Greece and Turkey.

You would need good hearing to hear that :)

Nygel and I both heard through double glazing, a series of what sounded like explosions.

Very glad if it isn't, but would like to know what it was.

I have new neighbours who are very noisy. Constant loud THUDS like they are dropping Heavy furniture onto wooden floor.

I was upstairs earlier and heard loud Thuds and thought .. WTF are they doing in there.

Perhaps it wasn't them and was what you heard..
