School children can be very cruel.

In a weird way I find that some of the kids from school that you didn't really click with at the time, often turn out to be far nicer adults (than the kids that you thought were ok at school).

I was called Daddio by my brother's mates because I was better at fighting, climbing trees and generally being the daddy than the boys in the area.

One of them embarrassingly still refers to me as Daddio!
