Hypnobirthing classes with The Mindful Rooms, booking now for February dates

Recommended Posts

Hello pregnant Mums and Partners

I'm a local Mum and an NHS doctor and am passionate about holistic healthcare and supporting the psychology that underpins health and wellbeing. I run The Mindful Rooms, offering a range of classes aimed at making time for busy Londoners to recharge. I am especially interested in pregnancy, birthing and the fourth trimester period and one of the classes I run is a Hypnobirthing antenatal course. This is a uniquely designed course providing a complete antenatal education and drawing on themes of mindfulness and positive psychology.

I'm delighted to announce that I have a new venue for my hypnobirthing antenatal courses at the Rosendale Allotment Community Building, which is a really lovely, tranquil space. Each course runs over a period of four weeks starting on the first Friday of each month, 7-9.15pm. I am now taking bookings for February 2018 and would love you to join us! The cost of the course is ?315 and this includes all materials, handbook, relaxation hypnobirthing tracks, excellent refreshments, an amazing goody bag, on going phone/email support right up to the birth of your baby, as well as a reunion session once all the little ones have arrived. Please note this is a course for first time parents. I also offer refresher courses and private courses.

Here is a little more about me and hypnobirthing..

I used hypnobirthing in both my pregnancies I was amazed over by the results, this spurred me on to train as a KG hypnobirthing teacher. Yes, it has a wacky name but hypnobirthing is actually a very sound birth preparation course, covering everything you could possibly want to know on the subject of birth and beyond. It is a complete antenatal education- in other words the science, physiology and anatomy of birth, all the practical factual information about vitamin K, epidurals, drugs, c-sections, induction, due dates etc etc AS WELL as the 'hypno'

part of hypnobirthing which is about re-framing fears and experiences in a positive way and learning fantastic relaxation techniques in order to enhance your pregnancy and prepare you for a wonderful, empowering birth. Be that a water birth surrounded by candles or a c-section in theatre..hypnobirthing is non judgemental and is there to give you the tools to prepare you and your birth partner for a positive labour..and is guaranteed to get you SO excited about meeting your baby!

Please contact me for any further information or if you would like to sign up to a class, I would love to hear from you

    • Depends on what the Barista says doesnt it? There was no physical confrontation with the driver, OP thinks she is being targetted when she isnt. These guys work min wage under strict schedules so give them a break unless they damage your stuff
    • CPR Dave, attendance records are available on Southwark's website. Maggie Browning has attended 100% of meetings. Jon Hartley has attended 65%.
    • I do hope NOT, wouldn't trust Farage as far as I could throw him, Starmer & co.  He's backed by GB News which focus's predominantly on immigration while the BBC focus predominantly on the Israel - Gazza conflict.
    • Everyone gets the point that Corbynites try to make with the "total number of votes cast" statistic, it's just a specious one.  In 2017, Corbyn's Labour got fewer votes than May's Tories (both the percentage of votes and aggregate number of votes). In 2019, Corbyn's Labour fewer votes than Johnson's Tories (both the percentage of votes and aggregate number of votes); and he managed to drop 2.7 million votes or 6.9% of vote share between the two elections. I repeat, he got trounced by Boris F***ing Johnson and the Tories after the Brexit omnishambles. It is not true that a "fairer" electoral system would have seen Labour beat the Tories: Labour simply got fewer votes than the Tories. Corbyn lost twice. There is no metric by which he won the general election. His failure to win was a disaster for the UK, and let Johnson and Truss and Sunak into office. Corbynites have to let go of this delusion that Corbyn but really won somehow if you squint in a certain way. It is completely irrelevant that Labour under Corbyn got more votes than Labour under Starmer. It is like saying Hull City was more successful in its 2014 FA Cup Final than Chelsea was in its 2018 FA Cup Final, because Hull scored 2 goals when Chelsea only scored 1. But guess what - Chelsea won its game and Hull City lost. Corbyn's fans turned out to vote for him - but an even larger group of people who found him repellant were motivated enough to show up and vote Tory.
