Does anyone know of anywhere that still has the Cbeebies Octonauts special magazine in stock? Its the one with the Octonauts figures toys. I only found out about it yesterday and the new issue is out today, so I'm not holding out much hope, but if you've seen one let me know and I'll hotfoot it down there! Or, if for some reason anyone bought two I'll happily take it off your hands (for payment of course)

I saw it in Red Apple on Monday (newsagents opp the library where the 40 terminates). They may have them still and are pretty helpful so if you asked, sure they'd try to oblige. Also the shopbit further down, next to sainsburys, often sells off the giveaway toys from old mags so again, worth a look.

Thanks everyone. In case anyone else is after one, Red apple don't have any more stock. Vickster - I went into the Co-op yesterday afternoon and had a rummage - but didn't find it, obviously not looking hard enough!

However, my hubby is obviously more eagle eyed. After a "good 10 mins' of digging through all the mags at Tescos on Old Kent road on his way home last night, he found one. Hurrah! I feel I really shouldn't be as pleased as I am over a childrens mag (last time I was this obsessed with finding something that was almost out of stock, it was the Jimmy Choos at H&M :) )

glad you got one, on the back of this thread i had a rummage at WHSmith lewisham this morning and got the last one there.. my little boy is octonauts mad at the moment, even pretends he is a pilot fish and nibbles on the shark grabber thingy we got from the horniman to clean its teeth...

    • One wonders if he would have defected if he had, ahem, held on to the leadership of Southwark and whether he felt that "Labour are no longer the vehicle for social justice" during his leadership election........my how quickly things change in the thoughts of a politician 😉 I think this sums things up quite nicely: A senior Southwark Labour spokesperson hit back: “Local residents can draw their own conclusions about Cllr McAsh’s swift move from Labour leadership hopeful to the Green Party, after he didn’t get his own way. While he’s thinking about his own career, Southwark Labour are delivering for residents.” One wonders if he will stand as a Green candidate in Goose Green.
    • No doubt if he determines to stand for a ward he will enlighten us - at least his track record is one of using this site to communicate (inter alia). I would suspect that (1) his personal views on traffic will have remained consistent but that (2) his views on local democracy and proper consultation will have as well.
    • Yes, but I want to know where he stands on all this stuff now. My feeling is it won't be any different from Labour?
    • Yes, but there doesn't seem to be any acknowledgement or apology from at least one LD on this site!
