worldwiser Posted December 19, 2017 Share Posted December 19, 2017 I had understood that if shop owners didn't repair their sections the council is legally entitled to do the work for them (at their cost) to remove a public hazard. In any case, the additional cost and effort beyond what's already involved would have been minimal in the grand scheme and what they've achieved instead is making something that already looked awful even worse. The highly conspicuous dividing line between council and private land is nothing short of hilarious. LL is now a Southwark laughing stock.Returning to the Christmas lights, I'm just fine with what they've done.
