My Child is Different - Parenting seminar

Join us at Bell House for a seminar on how to use positive parenting skills to enable your child to succeed if they are struggling at school because of their special educational needs.

Our speaker Elaine Halligan is a parenting coach who was inspired to retrain in behaviour management in an effort to help manage her own son?s educational needs. For the past 10 years Elaine has coached parents to understand their children?s temperaments and enable them to unlock their full potential.

This seminar will be hosted at Bell House, Dulwich on the 16th January from 7-9pm. Parents, teachers, and anyone else who is interested are all very welcome. In order to make this event accessible to everybody, we are inviting donations instead of a fixed fee. Please donate as little or as much as you can afford, or feel is appropriate.

Tickets are available here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/my-child-is-different-parenting-seminar-tickets-41245914641.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
