I'm probably worng, but I seem to remember that Sue was the mothinator.

There was an extended (and extremely satsifying) thread on this issue a couple of years ago. IIRC, a swift and final solution was eventually agreed on for the clear and present danger of moths.

Bastards f*cked up an unreasonably expensive suit of mine. They're on my sh*t list.

Huguenot no need for all this and to be upset in that way, Sue will be going soon and if she want's to continuous they can just go with their own team to another place so poppies can be free. Do you think this will work for you if not call new ones again everything will be fine.Sue is very understanding in all aspects she never gets upset the good thing about her. Enjoy :)

That is a spectacular website!

The only diaspointment is that they don't have a toothpaste mangle.

I'm confused as to why the the Miracle Tap Sprayer - Chrome/Black Best Seller! which fits 95% of all taps should have such a close following by the buyers of the Adapter S1 for Miracle Tap Spray Connection, which is also a must have.

Yep :))

There's a recent thread (not recently started, but still being posted on) on moths in the ED issues section of the forum, I'll go back and look up the link to the place I used for my (successful - last year anyway!) extermination campaign :))

Yes Nette and unless I'm mistaken those three compartments contain Blue Curacao, Red Absinthe and Creme de Menthe (for that fresh minty start to the day)

Your post on this thread appears to be your very first post on this forum.

Would it be very suspicious of me to think that you may perhaps have something to do with the sites you link to, since they both seem to go to the same website? Both selling anti-moth products? And the wording on the site is very similar to the wording in your post .....

Do you actually live in East Dulwich? Or have you googled for moths and found this thread in order to flog your stuff? You wouldn't be the first one ......

Edited because the rest of my post was a bit pointless given the above :))

Well I don't care if the posts were advertising a product, they gave great advice and it was useful, as it has been acknowledged that there were more clothes/carpet moths than there have been for many years, and this year may be just as bad. So thanks for posting. And we hope you'll stay to enjoy the rest of our forum.

Of course she won't "stay to enjoy the rest of the forum", she has registered and posted on here in order to promote her products.

There is already lots of good advice re getting rid of moths on the forum, which is on the thread I gave a link to above.

"Natural" products don't work (moths just ignore them). I have spent a fortune on "natural" products in the past before realising this.

Cleanliness certainly has a part to play.

Traps may give you an indication of the scale of the problem, but do not eradicate it.

Chemicals are the only thing which work in the long term, sad as this may be.

ETA: It is not the fact she has posted on here which I object to, it is the fact that she has not come clean about her connection with the website selling the products which she has linked to.

I don't like people who are economical with the truth.

Here here PR

And anyway, I love their logo ( complete with moth )

And this is a free forum

    • I think it's a good idea and follows the example of other towns/areas. As it says in the article, the area around the main tourist attractions in Southwark, that is The Globe, Southwark Cathedral, Tate Modern and the whole walking route from London Bridge to Blackfriars, takes a lot of maintaining and it shouldn't be a burden on regular council tax payers like us.
