Hello!


This Feb Half Term, we are setting up our pop-up recording studio at the fab Space @ 61 in Nunhead.


In groups, we challenge children to script and broadcast their very own radio play complete with super snazzy DIY sound effects! All parents are invited back to listen to the live transmissions and all plays are recorded and we post them on our website after the event for you to listen back to again and again!


Tickets are now on sale for two radio drama workshops on Friday 16th Feb. These times are 1pm - 3pm OR 3.30pm-5.30pm and costs ?13 - for more info / to buy tickets head here: http://www.wordplayeducation.co.uk/events

A few of you have been asking about spaces for our radio drama workshop this half term.


1pm-3pm is now pretty full but there are still plenty of spaces left for 3.30pm - 5.30pm workshop :)

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be.     • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast   
    • Could East Dulwich or Forest Hill work? Some properties on Underhill Road and Wood Vale have large gardens e.g.  https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/161079866#/?channel=RES_BUY  You'd be close to the Horniman, Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye. Transport might not be what you're looking for though e.g. a 15 minute walk to Forest Hill station for the East London line or mainline into London Bridge.
