May be worth asking at Ivydale Primary - they have a Streetdance class and some of the kids may be up for doing some more. They did a display yesterday at the end of the day and I was impressed with how good it was and how many boys were involved.

Hi,

To help with your search for Street dancing classes for boys, at South London Dance Studios in Herne Hill we offer boys only Street dance and modern dance classes. For a 5-7 year old boy it would be our Junior 'Funky Moves' class on a Thursday after school and for 8-9 year old boys, Boys Street & modern (I) on a Wednesday after school.

These fun and modern classes give boys the chance to learn current commercial dance styles. The music used in class is lively and contemporary and the emphasis is to have fun! Boys improve their ability to learn new routines quickly and also develop their strength and flexibility. They also start to learn gymnastic skills and tricks such as walkovers, handsprings and flips.

    • Ugly...maybe..does it bother me..NO! I think its somehow reassuring to see theres still phoneboxes around. East Dulwich may well be getrified but there may well be some elderly people who don't have mobiles and kids who may have lost theirs adults ditto etc etc. I'd rather keep it than lose it...just because i don't use it does'nt mean its not needed.  there are many eyesores in the modern world not all of them as potentially useful.
    • I strongly recommend Balayage salon in Lordship lane as everytime I visit, they make me feel very spicial with thier profisionalism and care.   I have been going there for the last 10 years maybe more, and will never exchange them for any other. They are profisional, welcoming and they also always have an offer. I feel like a new woman every time. X
    • The Pain de Campagne. The fruit breads look and smell good too but my missing teeth must include the sweet one.
    • Do tell me more. Is this we've all gone to hell in a handcart alarmist stuff?
