Black and white cat missing since around 29 January from Abbotswood Road. The name on his chip is Jasper but he's better known as Boris. Notorious mouser and a bit shy but missed. Any info appreciated. If you live nearby and have a shed he might be stuck inside, would be very grateful if you could check.

thanks

Hi Ben,

So sorry to hear Boris has gone missing. I got the note you posted at the weekend as I live on Shaw Road. I have checked my shed and no sign of Boris. I will keep my eye for him on my travels around the St.Francis estate.

Although Boris is chipped sometimes chips aren't reliable and can become unreadable by scanners so it is worth checking (if you haven't already done so already) with the local vets and animal charities to see if anybody has taken him in.

Hope Boris comes home soon.

Was boris found? I just started walking away from sydenham Hill station and saw a cat that looked to be aimlessly wandering. It wouldn?t let me get any closer than a few feet. Looked healthy but quite muddy around the legs. Immediately looked for missing cat notifications and this was very similar markings. He disappeared into the churchyard at 96 college road.

It was a sturdy black and white cat. Looked like a bruiser. With the same black mask pattern on the face and chin.

Boris turned up today after vanishing to who knows where for over 3 weeks. Healthy and uninjured but definitely a bit thinner. Thanks to all those who helped, especially Michelle, Servet, Justin, Maggie, David, Roseanna, LUVED, and Zander.

Could you perhaps also amend your OP subject line?

    • There was something to do a with a gate in the Brockwell case, I can't recall the detail, but the council removed a gate, which had been gifted in trust to the park, so the festival builders could allow access, or something. And that was illegal and that's what enabled Rylance et al to litigate.
    • How long is the Gala, and potential new event, disruption….this could be key from the article on the High Court challenge against Lambeth…   Under permitted development rules, a temporary change of use is allowed for a total of 28 days each calendar year, but the Brockwell Park festivals run over 37 days and were due to begin on 23 May.
    • Try the castle upstairs, you'd need to buy a few drinks in return.  @Suecan you advise?  It will be in use some Mondays no doubt
    • Yes, I was bemused to see that notice in Barry Road. It seemed a strange place to be having a drop off point.
