We are looking for a nanny to join our family as soon as possible to provide full time care for our son who is 1 and to take care of his big sister who is 4 and attends a preschool 5 days a week. My son is a relaxed and loving child. We want someone who is experienced in full time nannying and has a genuine love for children.

It is important to us that our child is socialised with other children so we want someone who is prepared to research and take him to play groups and any activities locally we might arrange to keep him occupied.

We would like the nanny to be Ofsted registered have completed a first aid course and have a valid DBS check. We also need our prospective nanny to drop off our 4 year old daughter at a local preschool and pick her up once school is done. The nanny would therefore care for the 2 children outside of school hours and in the school holidays. Our daughter is bright, well mannered and socialable and is a lovely big sister to her brother. Ideally we need someone with a full clean driving licence as the easiest way to reach preschool is by car but if you don't drive we could also work out something else with my daughter riding her bicycle or scooter to school. We would want the nanny to take care of the children's general well being, prepare home cooked healthy meals for them at home, do their laundry, help with homework and tidy up after the children around the house.

We are looking for someone who genuinely loves children, is a self starter and reliable as both parents have busy jobs. We would like someone who is energetic and can think up fun and creative activities for the children to do at home as well as taking them out to local parks or other places of interest. We are a fun and caring family who are looking for a longstanding working partnership.

If interested please get in touch. We will need valid references which we can check for the most recent positions held and within the last 3 years.

Our position is full time Monday to Friday and 52 hours a week. 7:30-5pm Monday and Friday and 7:30-6:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Please get in touch if you are interested to hear more about our position.

Thank you

I've attached my CV - my last role I was working in East Dulwich looking after 6month old twins and a 4 year old girl. the family was extremely lovely the mother worked for the Queen and the father for sky news - I was with them for over a year and a half and can supply you with contact details in which they will give you a reference.

    • Was it the promise to act as a "strong voice" for Muslims that sealed the deal? The Green Party hired Abi Wilkinson from the Sultana wing of Your Party just before the Manchester by-election. She's on record as denying sexual violence during the 7 October 2023 attacks on Israel by Hamas, which is not true. I wonder if she was also responsible for the dodgy text of the Urdu and Bengali comms the Green Party pumped out in the last days of the campaign? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_and_gender-based_violence_in_the_October_7_attacks https://www.reddit.com/r/ukpolitics/comments/1rhrd36/fury_as_green_party_spin_doctor_denies_women_were/

    • I've not engaged in this debate so far but you can't be more wrong. In the UK our own language is English, there is a small minority who can rightly claim their language is Welsh or Gaelic, and a couple Cornish. British Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Christians, atheists etc will usually speak British, even if not their first language.  The vast majority will be able to understand English.   A small percentage, less than two percent, of people living in the UK have little or no English (census data).  It is right that in certain situations eg schools there is signage and information in other languages, providing public information. It is wrong that a political party do this, particularly one who came across as opportunist on this occasion. There is an interesting conversation about British expats living, for example, on the continent, where I expect huge swathes who can hardly say a word of French, Spanish etc.
