cynical
Have you seen how narrow the pavements are on Barry Road? I think its dangerous enough as it is, without adding bus shelters, along with bins and trees etc Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/182307-bus-shelter-why-not-on-barry-road/#findComment-1219409 Share on other sites

oliviaandmilo
Bus shelters are poorly designed anyway! Seats are wet, none windproof! A very good example of one on a narrow pavement exist on camberwell new road. Do they really care? Jim1234
So if you want a bus shelter on your local stop you just need to ask a councillor? Shouldn't they be allocated according to passenger numbers? When I was t?lad council paid people to spray folks waiting for buses with high-powered fire hoses ? and there were no bl**dy buses anyway?! James Barber
Hi Jim1234,I can't guarantee a shelter will be installed but I do know a few routes to request this and have requested so. Fingers crossed. Currently I think it the only bus stop on Barry Rod without a bus shelter.
