Yes! Simone Harvey - a really experienced trainer. She can tailor to you completely. I?m sporty, but have had 2 babies and 9 knee surgeries. I was 10 kg heavier when I started with her a year ago. I could only manage about half what I can do now. It?s so fun and she?s so friendly. She?s a boxing specialist, but will do whatever suits you. Contact her on: 07910 230296.

I can second enikat's recommendation for Simone. I've been training with her for nearly two years and have really enjoyed our sessions - both in group classes and 1-2-1 PT. I've never been particularly sporty and never managed to continue any group classes that I've signed up. But Simone's energy and enthusism have really made training fun and enjoyable. Feel so much better for it, physically and mentally!

Third recommendation for Simone... she?s taken me from someone who has never exercised in my life but needed to do something after having two babies and a lifetime?s supply of biscuits, to actual real-life fitness! The boxing sessions in particular are really fun and pretty intense but the upside is that progress is steep as well - within a few weeks you can feel yourself getting fitter which is really motivating. Simone pushes you further than you thought you could go but never by being shouty - she encourages and makes you want to do it. Definitely recommend.
Another vote for Simone. She has great knowledge of body mechanics, muscle function and is capable of determining the individual abilities of her clients. Her pleasant and positive attitude is a great asset to her willingness to work with her clients at their own levels. She instils confidence and encouragement to make you want to work further and apply yourself more diligently. Highly recommend!!!

    • I’m currently conducting exploratory research into menstrual health education in UK secondary schools and would really value the insight of PSHE leads, Heads of Year, or pastoral staff.    The research aims to understand:   How the menstrual cycle is currently taught within the RSHE framework Where schools feel confident — and where there may be gaps Whether students are taught and  asking questions around the full menstrual cycle, symptoms, wellbeing and conditions such as PMS/PMDD or endometriosis How schools support students in feeling empowered to understand their bodies and seek help appropriately Whether education around nutrition, lifestyle, and menstrual wellbeing is currently addressed   The long-term goal is to explore whether there is a need for additional, age-appropriate, medically informed support on the menstrual cycle.  I’m not selling a programme and there is no obligation beyond a 30 minute informal chat online (Unpaid). All conversations will be confidential and used only to inform the research. If you work in a UK secondary school and would be willing to share your perspective, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you. Please comment below or email me [email protected] Thank you for the vital work you do. Best wishes, Emma
