Stuck in front of your computer all day, slipping into dementia while waiting for a thread to move to post number 72?

Just about compos mentis enough to realise the foolishness of it all, but still vacuously obsessed.

Well, Good News at last. State-of-the-art software can do all this for you.

Our "Chronic Patient" program will continually monitor a whole message board, immediately detect arrival of any post that matches any of the multiple trigger conditions you want to specify, and THEN instantly respond by submitting a post in your own name, just as if you had posted it yourself. Even your best friend won't know the difference.

This program is fully customisable, and can be yours for only ?200. Can you really afford to ignore this opportunity?

Advance orders are now being taken, but be quick. Only a finite number of copies of this software will be available, and we may cease supply at any time.

*applies for the retraction of title of "Lady"*

Mr. Medic, what are the rules on failing to behave with sufficient decorum please? I wish to lodge an objection in respect of this particular score. Lady Katharina van de Wotsit indeed!

Knew you'd say that!

1st rule of law (proper law - none of your 73s-made-up-on-the-spot-by-an-old-grumps-of-a-Doc-who-also-happens-to be-a-dwarf-nonsense): if a purported "rule" is surrounded by ambiguity/uncertainty, then that uncertainty/ambiguity goes in favour of person(s) questioning said purported "rule". 2011 it is...NER...

    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
