We are sad to have to sell, having spent many happy years raising a family here. Get in touch if you need further info or contact KFH.

A gorgeously dressed 3 bedroom freehold end terraced mews house, with south facing garden and two off-street parking spaces, in a quiet development off the East Dulwich side of Peckham Rye Common. Wellington Mews is a no through road, perfect for families, and is neatly tucked away with ideal access to trains/ Overground links, schools, Lordship Lane and Bellenden Road. The house is presented in excellent condition and is chain free.

On the ground floor there is a cloakroom, with the living/dining room at the rear opening onto the secluded rear garden. Herringbone brick is laid in the garden which has raised beds, is walled at the rear and has a large shed. To the front the kitchen is well-equipped with melamine worktops, NEFF five-ring inset gas hob, NEFF column-fitted oven, Bosch stainless steel dishwasher, Samsung fridge/freezer and Samsung washing machine. Upstairs on the first floor there is a landing with a deep storage cupboard and access to the loft (which is fully insulated and has a raised storage platform). Two bedrooms are doubles and the master benefits from fitted wardrobes and drawers. The single bedroom would make an ideal child's room or study. The bathroom is new, with underfloor heating and white sanitary ware. The basin is recessed into an integral vanity unit, there's a shower over the bath, part tongue and groove panelling, a mirrored medicine cupboard and heated towel rail.

Located close to leafy Peckham Rye Park and within easy reach of both East Dulwich & Peckham Rye station with fast direct links to London Bridge (10 mins), London Blackfriars and London Victoria the property benefits from excellent transport links. There are also a vast number of bus routes and night buses with easy access to the West End and the City that stop nearby include routes 12, 37, 45, 63, N63, 78, 197, 343, N343, 363.

All the amenities of East Dulwich and vibrant Peckham are on your doorstep - with its fruit and veg street markets, supermarkets, award winning library, swimming pool and a fabulous multi-screen cinema. The trendy Bussey Building (Bussey Warehouse and CLF Art Cafe) are also just a stroll away!

You are only ten minutes from thriving East Dulwich with it's coffee shops, pubs, bars and restaurants on Lordship Lane or trendy North Cross Road, with it's eclectic weekend market and independent shops.

    • Thanks Penguin. It could be a coincidence. But after years of road safety being on the local agenda they finally put the crossings in months before Dulwich Estates regain the lease on The Grove.   The Estate understands there is strong local interest in improving this area and we hope to be in a position to share some exciting updates in the near future. The temporary skatepark will remain unaffected. “Temporary skatepark” is telling.
    • Back to my earlier post about familiarity.  I was in Croydon this afternoon walking between the two main stations.  Didn't feel unsafe, but there were some 'interesting' characters on the street.  Not that any were bothered with me. Not a place I'd choose to go for a bit of a fun.  Although having said that West Croydon has some cracking restaurants and the wonderfully named Saints and Sinners bar, where I once went on a corporate do - not that I did many of these. Whoops just checked and it closed a few months ago. Back on track, I never went to the Castle as I felt it was a bit rough.  How wrong was I?  Only real pub left in the area.
    • Wow Sue! I was reading your post with interest as I’ve never really felt unsafe in London and I was born here. It was just your last paragraph that derailed me and totally changed the subject matter! So unnecessary.
