you have my complete sympathy. at least he keeps you fit- and for me i lost weight with such an active toddler. if you have a big garden that helps. i built little assault type courses ans we used to time ourselves how long it took. maybe a tramploine if you have space. lots of walking everywhere you can though.

I have one of these too. Nursery 2 mornings a week is great and saves me somewhat. He does 'Little Kickers' football sessions on a saturday morning. There is also a mini rugby class on a saturday at Belair park - Rugger Beez - but clashes with football sadly! We also do tumbletots (organised climbing) and go to toddler world at Crystal Palace. I thought the swim lessons at Dulwich pool were ok - mix of splashing and swimming - but can't go atm because of having young baby in tow. Haven't tried the 'gymboree' classes advertised on the rhs of the forum page - worth a go?

A proper gym class would be great - let me know if you find one!!

Southwark Gymnastics club, based at Harris@Peckham and other locations in Southwark currently only takes from aged 4 but are planning to expand into the toddler age group. http://www.southwarkgymnastics.co.uk

Ladywell Gym Club run gymnastics for aged 2+ and also drop off and leave gym play sessions for under 5s on a Friday morning and Wednesday afternoon. They are opposite Bellingham Train station (Catford area)and their website is http://www.ladywellgym.com

Its about a 10 minute train journey from Peckham Rye/Nunhead or from ED around a 20 minute drive.

Renata

Jags do trampoline classes for his age group on sat mornings at 9am or 10am for 45mins (when I say classes there is no structure they just get to bounce on real trampolines) then at 11am is baby booters which is a football club also suitable for his age group. All classes are on a drop in basis, don't need to be a member, trampoline ?5 per session and football ?3.50. My son loves it and by mid-day I have a semi-compliant toddler, too exhausted to be naughty!

We do little kickers at the community centre on darrell rd - saturday mornings at 8.30am - sounds bad but the best thing is football obviously is something daddy and small one have to bond over, so I get to loll around with the baby....

little h our boys sound like they might get on!!

My son is very similar and just turned 3! He does little kickers on Mondays in Beckenham. I think the coach named Denzel there is VERY good compared to other activity leaders. He also does tennis with Gordon of tennis 4 Kids on Barry rd. Monday afternoons. I have just signed him up for Rugger Beez based on this thread on a Sat morning. I am looking for a Friday activity and based on Renata's post put him on the waiting list to do gymnastics as Ladywell. (all courses have a waiting list in case anyone is thinking of calling) Anthing else on a Friday? I was thinking of swimming in Beckenham Spa once September rolls around as we will be away most of the summer. Sounds like a lot I know but he needs structured activities at least once a day or he cant expend enough energy!

He does tennis 4 kids, which has classes in the church hall on Barry Rd. The website is www.tennis-4-kids.com

My son goes at 3:30-4 which is a class mostly geared for 3 and a half to 4 year olds. There is a class at 2:30 for younger children. However there are also classes on Thursday and Sat for sure, and possibly other days. If you email Gordon the instructor he will let you know his availability. There are no weekly sessions over the summer holiday, but I do know that he is running summer blocks over the course of a week or so, which he may have availability for.

We are signing up now for the Sept term so maybe best to get in contact with Gordon and see what is available.

I think classes are 7 pounds a class, with a free trial week first.

The very young class is with parent involvement. The class my son is in I just sit on the side and watch. Let me know if you have any more questions.

    • Thank you! She is both spayed and microchipped, and reported missing on Petlog and with the vets.   She normally never goes out the front, certainly for never more than 10-15 minutes, so this is definitely new territory for her. There is lots of dense foliage across the road so there are plenty of places she could be hiding if she is spooked, so we are hoping she will come back when she is calm. The weather isn't helping, she never goes out in the rain. Thank you again!
    • Hi, Have you been letting her out the front door onto the street or would this be a first & therefore unfamiliar with the area? Does she respond to a name & is she spayed & microchipped? Our team carry scanners on our daily routes & will of course be looking our for her. I hope you are reunited with her soon. If not already, notify your street & surrounding streets (find out if they have Whatsapp groups) Dox will print & deliver free missing posters https://www.doxdirect.com/help/free-missing-pet-posters/ Call her at dusk & dawn when street & foot traffic is at its lowest. • A slightly delayed review but another one to echo Niko's praises. I had an issue with a cistern that needed replacing and Niko was attentive and did a great job. He was very diligent, explained what he was doing and fixed issues from a previous plumber's work. I will definitely ask for his help again if I have any issues in the future.
    • In good condition.  The seal should be intact.  Thanks
