I have a 3.5 year old little boy and I am looking for classes/ activities to take him to on weekday mornings (Monday and Thursday). I will potentially also have my 1 year old with me. Lots of kids of my son's age are in a pre-school next year in the mornings and he is bored at classes that cater to 2 year olds.

Does anyone know of anywhere/ anything that I can take him to that is aimed at 3/4 year olds? He will be 4 at Xmas and I am looking for something that will run from September for a year (minus school holidays or whatever) so for the large part of the year he will be 4 years old.

If there is nothing around is there anyone in the same boat as me? (I.e has a child that is almost school age and not at full time nursery or pre-school)? Would anyone like to set up a regular playdate on a Monday or Thursday - we could meet at the Horniman or somewhere like that? I just don't want him to miss out on playtime with kids of an appropriate age and none of his friends will be around on those days.

    • It was a reactionary post and inappropriate when talking about a real case and a real person who was harmed.  London streets are generally pretty safe.  Sadly violent crime happens from time to time, as it always has.
    • Do tell, CPR Dave, what the spiteful jealous stuff is - I'm intrigued.  Agree - Burnham is a top class communicator (polar opposite of Starmer) he'd do a great job of uniting the party. I still think Wes Streeting has the edge, though I'm sure he has more enemies as well.
    • This is a huge part of the problem.   Starmer is only interested in himself, not in what is best for our country.    There's a litany of stuff he's done for spiteful jealous personal reasons which has damaged the nation enormously. Burnham would be a much better leader than of the other dross left behind when Starmer goes. To inflict a worse leader (and PM) upon us for his own selfish reasons would add to the problems and be entirely in keeping with his woeful premiership so far.
    • I heard today there was a burglary in Lacon Road yesterday evening between 20.00 - 22.00,  apparently the owners were home at the time & thieves got away with electrical items along with the owners car!  Wtf!   Anyone heard anything else?
