Looking for a reasonably priced hairdresser

Hi there fellow hair-havers,

I am looking for a hairdresser (mobile or salon based) who charges reasonably/by hair length and type.

I (a female woman) have short, fine hair and am tired of being charged the same price for cuts and colours as those with long, lustrous locks.

Any recommendations would be received with thanks.

Depends what you consider reasonable I suppose. I get my hair (short, fine) cut at Kuki in Bellenden Road - they charge ?45 and spend more time cutting my hair then many others who have much more hair.

Haven?t tried them yet, but Cut Throat in Peckham have unisex pricing and charge ?30 for short haired people.

I go to Kuki too. I have very fine thin hair which is getting thinner by the day, or so it feels, and Shingo spends ages cutting it (it is short underneath with a few long bits on top.)

I actually think that it is harder to make short fine hair look good than it is to make long thick hair look good.

FWIW, short fine hair requires more skill to cut than many long hair styles...

I pay ?20 for a cut and blow dry with Adam in Forest Hill and around ?40 for lowlights.
